Music and Memories by Richard Ings Music™ is a specially crafted 60-minute live performance — a Canberra-based aged care musician and singer-songwriter with a deep passion for connecting with senior audiences in aged care residences and retirement villages across the ACT.
The show features beloved songs from classic sing-alongs of the 50s and 60s through to popular modern classics — tunes your residents will know and love. Richard also shares his own original songs and the stories behind them. Lyric books in large font are provided so every resident can join in.
As Canberra's dedicated aged care entertainment specialist, Richard uses the power of music to evoke positive memories, reduce social isolation, and bring genuine joy to residents of aged care homes, memory care units and retirement villages — an experience that is uplifting, fun and deeply meaningful.
